Your data. Your call.

This notice explains what Humance collects when you RSVP for the Humance Launch Activation, why, and what you can do about it. It is written with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) in mind.
What we collect
- A Humance Founding Member account in your name and email address.
- Your name, email address and WhatsApp number.
- Your Instagram handle, if you choose to give it.
- Your shirt size, training level and how you heard about the event.
- That you accepted the waiver, and when.
- Whether you opted in to Humance updates, and when.
- Whether you checked in at the door, and when.
To stop spam we also keep a scrambled record of the network address a form was sent from. It cannot be read back as an address.
Why we collect it
- To create your Humance Founding Member account, which holds your founding number and Founding Member pricing. Opening your ticket link confirms the email address is yours.
- To hold your spot, send your confirmation and check-in code, and run the door list.
- To contact you about this event, for example if the time changes or a waitlist spot opens.
- To plan the session and sizing for the people who are coming.
- To keep a record that you accepted the waiver.
Updates from Humance
By RSVPing you agree to receive relevant event updates and Humance updates (launch news, events and offers), as stated under the form's submit button. You can withdraw from Humance updates at any time: reply to your confirmation email, or use the unsubscribe link in any update. Withdrawing does not affect your RSVP; we will still send you what you need for the event itself.
Who sees it
The Humance team running the event, and GRIT Studios for the door list on the day. We use service providers to store the RSVP list and deliver email (Supabase, Resend and Google Firebase, which also holds your Founding Member account), who process the data on our behalf and may do so outside the UAE. We do not sell your data.
How long we keep it
We delete RSVP records within 90 days of the event. Two exceptions: if you opted in to updates, we keep your name and contact details for that purpose until you withdraw; and we keep the record of your waiver acceptance for as long as a claim could be brought. Your Founding Member account is separate from the RSVP record: it stays until you ask us to delete it.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. To do any of that, reply to your confirmation email.
